This month, the median wage increased to NZ$35/hour. This increase impacts on a number of different visa categories and requirements including:
* Skilled Migrant Category – The remuneration threshold for skilled employment has increased to NZ$35/hour (previously NZ$33.56/hour) for an ANZSCO skill level 1 -3 role
* Skilled residence Green List – The remuneration requirements for certain occupations has increased. For example, an External Auditor must now earn NZ$45.50/hour (previously NZ$41.09/hour)
* Partner of a Worker work visa applicants – An Accredited Employer work visa holder working in a skill level 1 – 3 role who wishes to support their partner to apply for a Partner of a Worker work visa must now generally earn NZ$28/hour (previously NZ$26.55/hour)
