Appley worked at the Christchurch Branch of Immigration New Zealand (INZ) for six years. During her time with INZ she held several positions including Immigration Officer, Technical Advisor and Immigration Manager.
After leaving INZ, Appley took some time out from the workforce to focus on her family. Since returning to work, Appley has been working as a Licensed Immigration Adviser. She specialises in employment based visas such as Essential Skills work visas and Skilled Migrant resident visas. However she has experience handling visitor visas, student visas, partnership based visas and employer applications such as Accreditation and Approval in Principle requests.
Appley currently works for Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology where she manages the Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice qualification. People wanting to work as Licensed Immigration Advisers must complete this qualification in order to obtain a licence.
Not only does Appley have a wealth of relevant experience, she is also appropriately qualified to assist you. Appley holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours), Bachelor of Arts (Japanese), Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice and is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales as a barrister and solicitor.
